Health innovation connects crews to doctors in real time
Atlantas Ship Management is rolling out Vikand’s Telemedicine Digital Plus system across its fleet, in partnership with Navarino.
Why it matters: Crews can now connect to shore-based doctors anytime via real-time video, helping diagnose and treat illnesses without costly diversions.
“The health and wellbeing of our crew will always come first,” said Bhuvnesh Dogra, CEO of Atlantas. “This ensures seafarers receive high-quality medical care, wherever they are.”

Chartering Decisions Without Delay
When fixing a ship, every second counts. Yet too often, communication, data, and action live in separate systems, slowing decisions and creating costly errors. Sedna changes that. By bringing email, integrations, and voyage management into one operating system, your teams gain the context to act quickly and accurately. The result: fewer mistakes, faster execution, and more confident decisions across the board.

Mobile visibility for smarter fleet control
NAVTOR’s new NavFleet app is making ship management mobile. The app connects shipowners and operators to real-time vessel data, weather, routes, and alerts; All from a smartphone.
Why it matters: Instead of waiting for reports, managers can instantly see speed deviations, communicate with crews, and act on issues at sea.
“Sometimes you don’t know you need something until you experience it… then you can’t live without it,” said Tor Håkon Svanes, Product Manager at NAVTOR.
The bottom line: With over 18,000 vessels already using NAVTOR systems, the new app signals how digital oversight is going mobile, putting an entire fleet in the palm of your hand….read more

Fleet expansion strengthens near-shore and survey capabilities
DeepOcean has chartered the Glomar Supporter, a multipurpose support vessel for near-shore operations in renewables and subsea work.
Why it matters: As Europe’s offshore energy market grows, demand is rising for smaller, cost-efficient vessels for survey and inspection tasks.
“We’ve been looking for smaller vessels that can provide an even more cost-effective offering,” said Øyvind Mikaelsen, CEO of DeepOcean.
The bottom line: DeepOcean’s fleet expansion strengthens its role in supporting offshore renewables — efficiently and sustainably….read more
