S&P Global has completed its acquisition of ORBCOMM’s Automatic Identification System (AIS) business, reinforcing its position in maritime analytics and global trade intelligence. The move strengthens the company’s data capabilities and supports its wider supply chain strategy.

Where operational excellence meets net zero ambition

CALCAREA and AURELIA Design have joined forces to develop the world’s first ocean-based carbon capture system for commercial vessels. The collaboration combines scientific innovation with naval architecture to create a new class of carbon-removing ships.

EST-Floattech will supply its Octopus Lite battery systems for six new general cargo vessels built by Ferus Smit for Arklow Shipping. The collaboration marks another step towards cleaner, more efficient operations in short-sea shipping.
